ACADEMIC SUPERVISOR

Dr. Slingerland taught high school math and physics for 13 years before becoming an academic supervisor at Cedar Creek.  She is a US Army veteran who served from 2006 until 2012 in the US Army Reserves as a Preventive Medicine Specialist.  

Dr. Slingerland received her BA in Mathematics and Secondary Education from Georgian Court University in 2004.  She has a Masters in Educational Technology from New Jersey City University and a Masters in Educational Leadership from Georgian Court University. She earned her Doctorate in Curriculum, Instruction, and Assessment in May 2024 from Walden University.

She is also an adjunct math professor at Atlantic Cape Community College and Stockton University.
